First of all, do NOT try to determine an error simply based on the
LAST error message.

Second, look at the message "fsck.ext2: Bad magic number in super block" ...
Basically it means either:
- your system is misconfigured (unlikely if it's a fully
virtualized/HVM domU and you just install it from CD/ISO)
- the filesystem is damaged

The next step depends on how you setup your HVM domU. If you installed
it from CD/ISO, and it works correctly before, then the recovery
procedure is the same as whatever you use on normal installation on
physical server/PC. This might involve booting using some kind of
recovery ISO (like Ubuntu Live CD, or Centos in rescue mode, or
sysrescuecd) and running fsck manually. In this case it's not really
xen-specific, so you might have better luck asking in you distro's
list/forum.
