Hi everybody!
I had install XCP 1.0.0 in my AMD64 server. I configured my first
dom0, but now i can't access my XCP server. I set up my interfaces in
XCP with fixed or DHCP (Network and Management Interface) but i can't
get access, ping...
My network driver is RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet (on
board), and 2 RTL-8169 gigabit (off board).
I'm getting a error ...something like that:
Bringing up management interfaces xenbr0: cannot set large receive
offload settings: Operation not supported...
I don't know if it's the reason...
Any help is appreciated..

I just bought a Gigabyte mobo with an AMD64 that also has the 8111/8168 onboard network controller. With Fedora14 and 15 the driver chosen is for the 8169. Pinging results in 40% dropped packets and regular use is erratic with lots of retransmits. It is not usable.

I don't know if the problem lies with the chip or the driver. "ethtool -p eth0" reports "Cannot identiry NIC: Operation not supported".

This sounds similar to your situation.

Mike Wright
