Re: [Xen-users] Xen and the InfiniBand
Dear All!
I'm also interesting in compatibility of Xen to work with Infiniband. I'm also have Infiniband on my supermicro nodes (Mellanox ConnectX-2 QDR Infiniband 40Gbps Controller w/ QSFP connector) and want to use IPoIB and with external storage.
I will be grateful for information from anyone who actually uses Infiniband with Xen.

Is it possible and are there things that should be taken in concideration, if one uses ddk to build drivers for IB? I have Mellanox QDR, 40Gb/s IB integrated in my supermicro motherboards.
Is the earlier advice, "use XenServer 5.6 FP1 ddr" still valid?

I have used InfiniBand with CentOS and Xen
with good results. At this point, InfiniBand is still not supported by default
by XCP (even though XCP is based on CentOS). Hopefully someday InfiniBand will
be supported out of the box with XCP.
