Hi, I just switch from Debian to Opensuse 11.3 in order to have all kernel features. It works perfectly for PCI passthrough but i have a issue with USB passthrough.
My .cfg file:
name="Router" description="None" uuid="27f51901-8df6-9c03-4715-9788935a8733" memory=512 maxmem=1024 vcpus=1
localtime=0 builder="linux" bootloader="/usr/bin/pygrub" bootargs="" extra="xencons=tty " #disk=[ 'phy:/dev/lvg-xen/Router-disk,xvda,w', 'phy:/dev/lvg-xen/Router-swap,xvdb,w', 'file:/mnt/openSUSE-11.3-DVD-x86_64.iso,xvdc:cdrom,r', ] vif=[ 'mac=00:16:3e:2d:59:77,bridge=br0' ] pci=[ '0000:03:00.0' ] vusb=[ 'usbver=2,numports=8,port_1=2-1.1' ] nographic=1
I can boot DomU, USB device is assigned to the DomU:
# xm usb-list Router Idx BE state usb-ver BE-path 0 0 4 USB2.0 /local/domain/0/backend/vusb/3/0 port 1: 2-1.1 [ID 0b95:1780 ASIX Elec. Corp. AX88178 ] port 2: port 3: port 4: port 5: port 6: port 7: port 8:
But my domU only see USB controller. I need to do following command in order to see this USB device appear.
xm usb-detach Router 0 1 xm usb-attach Router 0 1 2-1.1
Is there a trick to repair this issue?
Thanks a lot
Etienne
