Hello,

I've some xen servers, running virtual machines that uses raw images. Actually, we've been spending a lot of time moving volumes locally to free up disk space, because this kind of image doesn't shrink volumes automatically.

I took a look in zerofree website, and it looks to work well, but the author of the patch said that this extra work will hurt disk performance.

Someone uses zerofree ? Is it really hurt disk performance?

Regards,

Guilherme
