I didn't start any vm. So there was no qemu logfile. But i think i made another
step into the right direction! I hided the GPU device during boot of dom0. But
i think i had to bind it to pci-stub. After some testing i found that the
module wasn't loaded. => modprobe pci-stub. Then i needed to bind the GPU to
pci-stub:
modprobe pci-stub
echo "8086 0042" > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/pci-stub/new_id
echo "0000:00:02.0" > /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:00:02.0/driver/unbind
echo "0000:00:02.0" > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/pci-stub/bind
The iGPU appears in xm pci-list-assignable-devices.
But now i get another error when starting "xm create domname.cfg":
"
Using config file "/path/to/cfg/domname.cfg".
Error: (22, 'Invalid argument')
"
My config file:
name = 'domname'
kernel = '/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader'
builder = 'hvm'
device_model = '/usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm'
memory = 1024

vnclisten='0.0.0.0'
vncpasswd=''

Obviously the iGPU was successfully assigned to the vm. The qemu logfile:
