[Xen-users] Creation of Storage repositories SRs' for Virtual Disk	Image

Hullo everybody
  I am working on a Dell server R710 and using RAID5   and below are my storage parameters after XCP installation .
  [root@virtualintranet /]# fdisk -l

Disk /dev/sda: 1998.2 GB, 1998233534464 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 242938 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

   Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks   Id  System
/dev/sda1   *           1         523     4194304   83  Linux
Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary.
/dev/sda2             523        1045     4194304   83  Linux
/dev/sda3            1045      242938  1943010845+  8e  Linux LVM
 On starting VM:
  [root@virtualintranet /]# xe vm-start uuid=cf49ac3b-4f08-0cf7-1b90-454667cd7c2f
  Error code: INVALID_SOURCE Error parameters: Unable to access a required file in the specified repository: file:///tmp/cdrom-repo-lwX1I5/images/xen/vmlinuz., ,
 From the above it looks like it is the problem of my image ( slackware.13-0.x86.img) which is slackware.10GiB. so i therfore thought of creating  a Storage Repository SR for  VDI (virtual disk image) probably that will help me to start my VM , and i am working with Logical volumes .Is it possible to create a VDI in logical volumes?
 Could somebody out there advise on how to create a Storage Repositories SRs' for  VDIs' or any other options to go over this. And what are the recommended RAIDS for this scenario, is Raid 5 a workable one?
  Thanx
