Hi,

To date, I've used Xen only on servers - without installing X- or any window manager.

I'm not installing Xen on a desktop system - as a platform for testing/evaluating a variety of different network management packages - most of which require X-, GUIs, etc. I'd like to be able to create a DomU for testing purposes, install some software, play with it, then throw the DomU away and repeat the process multiple times.

Which leads to a question: how do I install a X- and Gnome or KDE into a DomU so that everything works properly? (Conceptually, I can understand setting up Dom0 with a GUI. I'm less clear on how it all works for DomUs).

Suggestions? Pointers to documentation?

Thanks very much,

Miles Fidelman
