Hello,

I'm facing a quite starnge issue.

I am using Xen 3.2.1 that is bundled in debian Lenny.
There are 3 HV windows 2003R2 hosts on my dom0 and i'm facing the same issue on all of this guests.
When I try to attach a new  block device (mount an iso cdrom) I do from dom0:

sudo xm block-attach domainname file:/path.tomy.file.iso hdc:cdrom r

The command completes without warning nor error and block list shows the new block device in the guest.
...
5632    0    0     1      -1     -1    /local/domain/0/backend/vbd/4/5632

Unfortunately in the cdrom never appear in the windows explorer whereas the windows device manager show up a new Xen Black Device driver. Even further, if I have to detach the block device. Windows guest pops up telling me that the device (that I can't see) can now be removed.... :/!
If I add the config informations in the config file and recreate the guest... the CDRom appear at boot time. But of course reboot is not an acceptable way of mounting a cd, even for a windows user! :)

Does anyone has ever faced that? Or nay idea?
