Yes, I am using the pvops. The Dom0 kernel version is 2.6.31.13.

How can I get these patches?

I take it you're running a pvops dom0? This must have been broken for
ages.

The xm pause command will try to pause the disks and that deadlocks in
kernel space.

It should work okay with recent patches to the tools and kernel.
