Thread-topic: Question on pv_ops kernel upgrade

Hi,

Just wondering what the best procedure is to carry out kernel upgrade.

Should I just run in the existing tree

cd /usr/src/linux-2.6

git pull

make oldconfig

make bzImage
make modules
make modules_install
cp -a arch/x86/boot/bzImage /boot/vmlinuz-version
cp -a System.map /boot/System.map-version
cp -a .config /boot/config-version
depmod –a
update-initramfs –c –k version
