...if you are using pure briding (which acts on layer 2) afaik you can use IPv6 
and other compliant protocols within your domUs. 

Depending from your needs it might be required to modify domU networking / 
traffic within dom0 (firewalling / NAT) - in such cases you should need the 
prpoer protocol support within your dom0.
