Hi,

Two questions which I am unable to find an answer to(Iam testing pci passthrough in xcp0.1.1)

1. I installed XCP 0.1.1 and installed Debian Lenny 5.0(followed the steps mentioned in xenwiki).
2. xe vm-list lists it correctly
[]# xe vm-list
uuid ( RO)           : e9fb777a-5b47-3668-3d23-9d836dbb53da
     name-label ( RW): Debian-lenny
    power-state ( RO): running

uuid ( RO)           : 43843b80-6c90-4d39-a178-31e7605e1b52
name-label ( RW): Control domain on host: xcp-nfcm36
    power-state ( RO): running

3. I did xe vm-shutdown on Debian Lenny

4.  xe vm-param-set uuid=e9fb777a-5b47-3668-3d23-9d836dbb53da other-config:pci=0/0000:08:01.0(enabled pci passthrough)

5. pciback is installed in control domain.

6. I do xe vm-start, I get error messages as follows

[]# xe vm-start uuid=e9fb777a-5b47-3668-3d23-9d836dbb53da
The bootloader returned an error
vm: e9fb777a-5b47-3668-3d23-9d836dbb53da (Debian-lenny)
msg: Error from bootloader: Failed to parse the output of bootloader: ()

How do I fix this?

Second question, in xenwiki it mentions about accessing vm console

1. I typed in IP address of XCP host, I get following

Citrix Systems, Inc. XenCloudPlatform 0.1.1

XenCenter CD image

XenCenter installer

Click on either one, I get error. Do I need to install anything else in control domain, I have installed base.iso only? how does one access VM console(a.k.a debian lenny)?

Inputs appreciated.

Thanks
