[Xen-users] Re: A sample question

Does anybody know how to redirect the GPL Windows PV Driver to QEMU log? like following:

And Qemu log (last few lines) is here:
TcpIpChecksumNdisTask
  V4Transmit.IpOptionsSupported  = 0
  V4Transmit.TcpOptionsSupported = 1
  V4Transmit.TcpChecksum         = 1
  V4Transmit.UdpChecksum         = 0
  V4Transmit.IpChecksum          = 0
  V4Receive.IpOptionsSupported   = 0
  V4Receive.TcpOptionsSupported  = 0
  V4Receive.TcpChecksum          = 1
  V4Receive.UdpChecksum          = 0
  V4Receive.IpChecksum           = 0
  V6Transmit.IpOptionsSupported  = 0
  V6Transmit.TcpOptionsSupported = 0
  V6Transmit.TcpChecksum         = 0
  V6Transmit.UdpChecksum         = 0
  V6Receive.IpOptionsSupported   = 0
  V6Receive.TcpOptionsSupported  = 0
  V6Receive.TcpChecksum          = 0
  V6Receive.UdpChecksum          = 0
TcpLargeSendNdisTask
  MaxOffLoadSize                 = 61440
.......

Thanks

Oh, I see - that's probably because the driver I'm using is a newer version with extra debugging info that's James (the guy who actually writes this driver) sent me as a test. Actually still some problems with it so it has not been released to public. I guess we just have to wait...

In my  /var/log/xen/qemu-dm-[virtual machine name]

I can't find any log related to PV driver (I have installed on WINXP DomU).

I donot know why.

Need I to do some other things , for e.g. trun on some LOG MACRO ?

Thanks

Hello Huibin,
it should be in /var/log/xen/qemu-dm-[virtual machine name] (I think its default directory that can be changed in xend config).

Hey  Alexander,

I read your mail of "Win2003x64 VM unexpected reboot - PV disk driver?"

From it, you pasted Qemu log.

My quetion is how to get the Qemu log, I can't find any qemu log on Dom0 like yours
( I installed GPL PV drivers too)

Thanks !!!
