You can set it lower as well, depending on how much RAM your system
requires. (eg. if you are running X Windows or any high memory services,
which you shouldn't need to on a xen host).

We run 512M here for our VM hosts freeing up most of the memory for
guests as all our services are hosted inside VMs.
