Re: [Xen-users] xenconsole: Could not read tty from store: No such file
There were two problems:
1) the devices for /dev/xvc0 (virtual console) and /dev/xvda2 (swap)
were somehow missing in this domU. I had already fixed that before
I had sent this E-mail but that was why it didn't autostart on bootup.
2) Once I did that, I had to restart xend to get the system to
activate the domU again successfully and then all was well.

PS--I did not say earlier, that when the xm create is listed, I get the
pygrub prompt to select kernel and only then does the xenconsole
prompt come up.

Has anyone seen this error before? I had a domU that was working fine

the reboot of the dom0. It did not autostart on the reboot even
though it was configured to do so. A manual start got it part way
through the kernel startup and then nothing. Any subsequent
restart commands give only
[root@gratia01 xen]# xm create -c xen5.cfg
Using config file "./xen5.cfg".
Started domain gratiax15
xenconsole: Could not read tty from store: No such file or directory
the domU stays active until destroyed, but nothing happened.
As far as I can tell there's nothing in the xen database about
this domain. I went so far as to delete the domain from the
xen database (preserving the config file elsewhere) and then
re-instantiate it, no difference.
Any idea what might be going on?
