Isn't that kind of like asking if you should compile or install RPMs  
on a Nix box in general?
I suggest trial and error.
 Benefit of a domU is that you can make a backup copy and test/destroy/ 
test/destroy/etc... until you get it right.
Much easier then the old days of discreet boxes.
Now, you can have your test lab all in 1 box.
