[Xen-users] Latest xen unstable, error: pathspec 'xen-tip/master' did no
Hi,
i have been trying to install the latest release of xen unstable, and i got
stuck on something i don't understand when i run 'make dist'. Here is the
output :
[...]
warning: remote HEAD refers to nonexistent ref, unable to checkout.
+ cd linux-2.6-pvops.git.tmp
+ git checkout refs/remotes/xen-tip/master
error: pathspec 'refs/remotes/xen-tip/master' did not match any file(s)
known to git.
make[2]: *** [linux-2.6-pvops.git/.valid-src] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/john/Xen/xen-unstable.hg'
make[1]: *** [linux-2.6-pvops-install] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/john/Xen/xen-unstable.hg'
make: *** [install-kernels] Error 1
Is there something i should know about how to get the main branch? Because
although i saw some guys replacing this to match the bleeding edge, i didnt
see them talking about modifying anything for the master.
Help please :(
