Hi,

What is the ethernet device in your system.
If it is realtek RTL811/RTL8168 something then I too have seen an
issue like this.

The ethernet address for the eth0 interface is set to
fe:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff by the rtl8169 driver which gets installed.
This ethernet address happens to the be the address used by xen
networking. Hence because of the addres conflict the packets get
dropped.

you can check this by running running ifconfig. You will see the same
ethernet address for eth0 and the xen interfaces too.

Thanks
Ramachandran
