[Xen-users] Ethernet bonding in fedora
I have combined the bandwidth of eth0 and eth1 in a virtual interface bond0, Fedora8 system. Now I am able to connect through this interface.
The probe is I am unable to check its settings with combined(doubled) Bandwidth using command ethtool bond0 but It shows the setting for each ethernet individually like this
ethtool peth0 Settings for peth0: Supported ports: [ TP ] Supported link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full
100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full 1000baseT/Full Supports auto-negotiation: Yes Advertised link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full 100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full 1000baseT/Full Advertised auto-negotiation: Yes
Speed: 1000Mb/s Duplex: Full Port: Twisted Pair PHYAD: 1 Transceiver: internal Auto-negotiation: on Supports Wake-on: g Wake-on: d Link detected: yes
ethtool eth1 Settings for eth1: Supported ports: [ TP ] Supported link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full
100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full 1000baseT/Full Supports auto-negotiation: Yes Advertised link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full 100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full
1000baseT/Full Advertised auto-negotiation: Yes Speed: 1000Mb/s Duplex: Full Port: Twisted Pair PHYAD: 1 Transceiver: internal Auto-negotiation: on Supports Wake-on: g Wake-on: d Link detected: yes
