Hi:

The issue whenever I got, I was unable to find the actual cause and rebooted the sever fix the issue.
But I found the below situation on the server.

 xm list

Name                                      ID Mem(MiB) VCPUs State   Time(s)
Domain-0                                   0     1348     8 r----- 1663241.1
Test-server                                 8     1849     8 -b---- 3079843.8

brctl show

bridge name     bridge id               STP enabled     interfaces
xenbr3          8000.feffffffffff       no              vif8.0

[root@test ~]# ifconfig eth0 | grep -i HW
eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:16:3E:17:50:7D

brctl showmacs xenbr3 | grep -i "00:16:3E:17:50:7D"   No such address was found

After that I rebooted the test server (DomU) and it worked fine to me.

Currently I don't have such situation but I need the solution of this.

Can I add my mac address of test server to brctl xenbr3 to fix the issue.

You need to explain a bit more what your problem is. Do you loose network connectivity in Dom0, or why is it a problem that you do not have the MAC address in the bridge table ? When does this happen, and how often ? Maybe it would also be worth posting your ifconfig output, and your brctl show and brctl showmacs xenbr0 output. That could help to fix your problem.

HI:

I see the problem in my system

The mac address assigned to Dom0 does not exist in the below command

brctl showmacs xenbr0

But the Dom0 vif is present in the below command in xenbr0

brctl show

so to fix the issue, I need to reboot the Dom0 everytime when it occurs

Is there any way to add the Dom0 mac in xenbr0 or provide another mac to Dom0 from the list of xenbr0?
