[Xen-users] How to disable tls on CentOS 5 with Xen 3.3.1?
Hi:
I downloaded Xen 3.3.1 source from xen.org, compiled and installed it on CentOS 5. At first boot into xen, I got an error message about tls and told me to use "mv /lib/tls /lib/tls.disabled" to disable it. I issued that command after the first boot. And also tried to remove that directory to /root.
But after that, I still got the same error message about tls when booting into Xen. The offending process is "modprobe". I tried to reinstall xen using "sh ./dist/install.sh" and rebuild ramdisk using "mkinitrd" command. But that error remains. And the system is very slow.
How to disable the tls? Should I use "make world" again?
BTW: I am running the CentOS in a VMware workstation virtual machine. So the Xen is on top of vmware workstation. I am not sure whether it matters. But I can run Xen3.0.3 coming with CentOS
without the tls problem. I want to compile Xen 3.3.1 because I want to enable some debug options and test the newest stable version of Xen.
Regards,
Jiang
