Hi,

*is* there hvmloader in /usr/lib64/xen/boot/? (On my amd64, it is in
/usr/lib/xen/boot/); did you install Xen from source or as a package?
When I first installed it from source, bcc and some dependencies were
not installed on my host system, so hvmbuilder wasn't built...

Regards,

Quoting tad1214 <tad1214@xxxxxxx>:

HI all I am having just a bugger of a time trying to get this freebsd 7 box
installed under xen.

Here is my config file:
[root@COBRA1 ~]# cat /etc/xen/FBSD7
name         = 'FBSD7'
builder      = 'hvm'
device_model = '/usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm'
kernel       = '/usr/lib64/xen/boot/hvmloader'
acpi         = '0'
memory       = '512'
maxmem       = '1536'
disk         =
['tap:aio:/vm/FBSD7.img,xvda,w','file:/vm/iso/7.0-RELEASE-i386-bo
otonly.iso,hdc:cdrom,r']
vif          = ['type=ioemu,bridge=eth0']
boot         = 'd'
vnc          = '5901'
serial       = 'pty'
on_poweroff  = 'destroy'
on_reboot    = 'restart'
on_crash     = 'restart'
vcpus        = '1'
extra        = 'xencons=tty1'

This is the error it is throwing out.

[root@COBRA1 ~]# xm create FBSD7
Using config file "/etc/xen/FBSD7".
Error: (1, 'Internal error', 'Could not open kernel image (2 = No such file
or d
irectory)')

Any help is GREATLY appreciated

p.s. had some trouble getting this to post so sorry if its a double post.
