Any of them should operate, *in full virftualization mode*. It's
paravirtualization that takes a fairly customized kernel.

    Hi All,
I've been reading up here, out of curiosity,
    (http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/OpenSolarisPVonLinux) on
running OpenSolaris 2008/05 as a PVM. I'm currently running
CentOS 5.2 x64_86 and Xen 3.2.1 on a server and was wondering if I
wanted to install a PVM instance of say, Ubuntu 8.04 from a DVD
ISO, (instead of HVM) what would the steps be required to do so?
    Thanks!

If Ubuntu 8.04 DVD ISO won't work on XEN, which Ubuntu will then?
