Re: [Xen-users] multiple bridges, but only peth0
To attach to multiple interfaces, you need to specify them, e.g.
vif=[ 'bridge=xenbr4','bridge=xenbr3','bridge=xenbr2' ]
and so on.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I have a machine with a quad NIC and want to use this NIC for different domUs in different networks.
So I created my own script in /etc/xen/scripts:
------8<--------
#!/bin/sh
script=/etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge
$script "$@" netdev=eth0 vifnum=0 bridge=xenbr0
$script "$@" netdev=eth2 vifnum=2 bridge=xenbr2
$script "$@" netdev=eth3 vifnum=3 bridge=xenbr3
$script "$@" netdev=eth4 vifnum=4 bridge=xenbr4
$script "$@" netdev=eth5 vifnum=5 bridge=xenbr5
------8<--------
(eth1 is reserved for another purpose)
and changed /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp to call my script. OK, now I have xenbr0,2,3,4,5.
Now I want to start a domU with vif=[ 'bridge=xenbr4', ], but xenbr4 has one interface only: vifx.0. I would expect vif0.4 and peth4 too.
I must be missing something fundamental - but I really do not know what.
Any help is appreciated,
Rainer
