[Xen-users] Which kernel for debian-install in domain
I've got a SuSE 10SP1 i586 server with xen 3.0.4 and want to install
debian 4.0 r3 (Etch) i386 in a domain.
But ... which kernel and initial ramdisk should I use in my
config-file? When using the host xen-kernel it ends here:
Config-file debian is below.
Using linuz-xen kernel and initrd
--- cut ---
XENBUS: Timeout connecting to device: device/vif/0 (state 6)
Loading xenblk
Registering block device major 202
blkfront: xvda: barriers enabled
xvda: unknown partition table
blkfront: xvdb: barriers enabled
xvdb: unknown partition table
Loading reiserfs
Waiting for device /dev/cciss/c0d0p3 to appear:
..............................not found -- exiting to /bin/sh
$
Using kernel and initrd from debian media:
Error: (2, 'Invalid kernel', 'xc_dom_find_loader: no loader found\n')
# /etc/xen/vm/debian

ramdisk = '/boot/initrd-xen'
