Hi all,

I compiled Xen 3.2.0 on a Fedora Core 8 distro running on a DELL OptiPlex 755 machine. When I boot into the Xen kernel and try to start xend it complaints that device eth0 does not exist. I read a previous thread on this probelm but for Xen 3.1 on a FC5 system saying that to correct it I should add alias eth0 xennet to /etc/modprobe.conf . However I don't have a module called xennet. Also when I checked the /etc/modprobe.conf the first line says alias eth0 e1000e.

Does anyone have any idea what configuration I need to make to get eth0 up and running?
You should do a ifconfig -a
and then make sure that your /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp is using the right netdev for your physical card. By default it uses eth0, but you can change it.

Thanks in advance !!!
