You would need to install the xenpci driver (xenpci.sys) too, which is
what communicates with Dom0. ShutdownMon connects to a 'socket' (of
sorts) created by the xenpci driver and listens for events. Probably
best to either get the source using hg or wait for the next binary
release (as soon as Andy is happy for the net drivers to get some
further testing).
On the systems I am testing on, xenvbd and xennet work great, although I
am only testing on AMD CPU's with 1 vcpu per DomU. Last time I tested
with >1 vcpu things broke, and I have reports from a few versions ago
that Intel CPU's didn't work, but I need some more testing done to
follow up on that.
