Does the underlying hardware have an effect on the
effectiveness of a bridge?

What I mean is if I have four xen machines using a
bridge and actively transferring data, does it make a
difference if the card is 100Mb or 1GB? Is the
through-put going to be better? If I have a quad nic
card would it be better if I assign a bridge to each
of them and assign them to each xen machine would the
performance be better?
