Hi,

The http server is on a machine that is on our public subnet. The machine I'm trying to install on is on a private subnet behind a headnode.

The para-virt install I'm trying is FC6 guest, not CentOS (sorry for the confusion).

I selected virtual network as the network type because no devices show up under "Shared Physical Device".

Thanks,
Cam

Hi,

I have successfully installed a CentOS VM from a DVD ISO. I would like to try a paravirtualized OS because of the better performance that is claimed. However, the install cannot access the stage2.img.

As I understand this is the first network access from within the domU so it makes me think that there is something wrong with the network.

Any help or pointers is appreciated,
It works fine for me. What version of CentOS? And where did you put the CentOS OS image so that the network based para-virt installer can find it?
