Hello, Yes, it is true, but if You want to access the DomU, You have to to
get running some other kind of displaying graphics for Dom0, like
framebuffer device, etc. I had problems to get fb working now for Xen 3.1.0
- for normal debian etch 4.0 (standard boot of the system) it worked without
problems, but if I booted with Xen, I never could get Dom0 to use the vga
console - it did not work for any specified resolution... Maybe it is
dependent on my hardware, but today I just also isntall new guests just
connected from another computer over vnc to the DomU...

If You find some common way how to solve it and which libraries have to be
installed on Dom0, please share it with us :-)

With best regards

        Artur

You can connect using VNC, look at the config file for a HVM

To reduce the overhead of dom0, i don't want to run X on it.
is there a way for me to connect to the graphical interface of a
windows domU?

TIA,
Tomoki
