hello's!

i'm hoping i have a really easy problem. i have two machines running FC6, one x86, one x86_64. i used virt-manager to install domU's on both, and both work fine.

the issue is when a domU doesn't start due to filesystem issues (or anything else), i can use 'xm console <domID>' for the x86_64 domU and see the error, while the x86 domU doesn't show anything. i need to use the virt-manager gui 'Open', then 'view'/'serial console'.

am i missing something obvious? the domU's are very similar and there are no major configuration differences on the dom0 machines.

help is appreciated.

good day!
joe
