Hi,

We are in need of a Real-Time Operating System.
We were thinking of simulating a Real Time Os using
Xen on a Linux background.
As of now we are running Linux Fedora Core 5.

I would like to know if it is possible to simulate a
Real time operating system using Xen ?

Would it give us better scheduling performance
compared to a normal OS ?
We need to specify a scheduler to the RTOS such that
it would run the applications we require at a
specified time.
Basically we require an OS for doing small
applications and getting a feel of a Real-Time
operating system.

Is Xen capable of all this? Is Xen capable of
simulating a Real Time OS ?
If it is could you give me a hint of how to go about
this also.
Thanking You.

Regards,
Deepak.
