[Xen-users] re: Gameserver in DomU
Hi,
thank you for the hint.
I have following question:
You set the kernel freqeuncy to 1000Hz in both Dom0 and DomU kernels?
In other words, may I have 100Hz in Dom0 and 1000Hz in DomU kernel?

Hi,
I've run a UT2004 gameserver in a paravirtualized guest. Think the only
special thing we did was set the kernel frequency to 1000Hz. It worked great
but that's maybe also due to the fact the rest of the hardware was only a
back-up NS, so not really doing anything.

Subject: [Xen-users] Gameserver in DomU
Hallo,
anybody here got succesfull running installation of gameserver in DomU?
I was playing with sched-sedf parameters but the performance is
sluggish on decent hardware with enough memory. Game servers Ive
tested: CounterStrike,Call of Duty.Enemy Territory.
Any hints?
