Actually I had set MAC of guest OS in the manner given at - http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenNetworking
But problem was that - I was running SUSE 10.2. It has interface config files in /etc/sysconfig/network/scripts/ I was trying hard to find this. Culprit was the file named " ifcfg-id06-xyz " Actually I set the MAC as 0A-xyz in config file (which present in host) of that guest OS. So there should have been file names ifcfg-0A-xyz in above mentioned path. I done that & restarted the machine. & now I got my xen networking really working fine.
Little config file issues can cost you lot of trouble..

Where can I get info. on how to setup networking in Xen. I referred - http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenNetworking But it didn't helped much.
What should be MAC address for vif in Domain-0 & for eth0/1 in guest domain. Should it be same ? if yes then how to set it. Same question about IP address, should I set it through config file by giving vif = [ 'ip= -.-.-.- ' ] ?
Or there can be problem with firewall or IP forwarding though I havnt changed the default settings.
(asking too many questions, but newbie to Xen so please bear me.)
Thanks, -Rahul
