One of my Xen Dom0 hosts crashed last night. Looking on the serial console logs I see many errors like the one below. The Dom0 has 256M ram, and plenty of swap as you can see below.

I was having oom killer errors, so I set
vm.min_free_kbytes=8192
in /etc/sysctl.conf, and in grub I set
dom0_mem=256M
and that seemed to help, until yesterday.

This might be more of a "running a heavily used bridge in a small memory Linux box" problem more than a Xen problem, but the two are somewhat related; I was hoping someone might have some experience they could share.

I'm running the xensource 3.0.2-3 xen kernel with the default vmlinuz-2.6.16.13-xen Dom0 kernel compiled from the same place. the userland is Debian 3.1.
