I've unfortunately now given up getting Xen to work in my VMWare system at
anywhere near a reasonably speed.

I can confirm Xen does work with QEmu/no acceleration, but I haven't managed
to get it to work with QEmu+the latest KVM kernel module for hardware
virtualisation. It just pauses at the line:

(XEN) Xen trace buffers: disabled

I am using Ubuntu Edgy Eft and kernel 2.6.17-10 on the host. dom0 as the QEmu
guest uses Xen 3.0.3 on Debian Etch and the real hardware is an AMD AM2 X2.
