"The other issue was that the device is only available to DomUs if a CD was in the drive at the time when DomU booted." This worked for me. But its like a drawback in xen, every time i want to run some cd i have to reboot the vm...That is annoying, but i guess official release is due soon and i hope it works fine after that.
