If you have a Broadcom NetXtreme II NIC (which is common in Dell boxes) then this might be the solution to your problem:

where 192.168.1.100 is the address of vm's ethernet interface.
The same if I try to ping from the dom0 to vm.
I use HVM virtualization; the network configuration in my conf is:
vif = [ 'type:ioemu, mac=00:16:3e:00:00:11,bridge=xenbr0' ]
ne2000=1
I have tried with ne2000=0 but is the same.
Somebody have any ideas?
