Hi List!

We want to order new hardware for or training course lab, it should run
xen HVMs. CPU will be Intel core 2 duo. Does anybody know if the Intel
chipset 945GZ and the BIOS of the ASUS P5GZ-MX are IVT-aware?

/nils.

Hi Nils, just my two eurocents,

I have an Intel 945GM Chipset here running a paravirtualized guest (Debian/Sid) and an fullvirtualized guest (W*n XP). Be aware, that not all core 2 duos support vmx, you can find the specs somewhere on the Intel site. To the mainboard I can say nothing.

Gruss,
Oliver
