Here are some benchmarks using Sandra. My system is a e6400 core2duo, 2GB DDR2 RAM, and RAID 5. You get better GUI performance if you remote desktop into the machine from another windows machine:

I don’t have vs2005 installed.  What are you concerned about? CPU performance, disk performance, memory performance?  Is there a specific benchmark program you want me to run?

2G memory. He said that speed is fine when run setup on text mode. But it
was very very slowly when system enter the Gui.
