In terms of what? We're getting a very high IOPS rate, and nearly saturating gigabit ethernet.

write-through or write-back cache? lots of systems default to write-back, as the performance will be worlds better with write- back, at the expence of safety.

The Coraids are write through, i.e. the write returns when it's committed to disk.
