I have problem to start multiple DomU VM instances. I have tried to find
solution
googling around but not find good lead where to look more.

Kate

I got the following message when i try to start other VM session

root@asgard xen]# xm create -c fc4a
Using config file "/etc/xen/fc4a".
Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.
[root@asgard
xen]#

I have set loop devices

cat /etc/modprobe.d/local-loop
options loop max_loop=128

loop: loaded (max 128 devices)

There is something wrong in hotplug:

cat /var/log/xen-hotplug.log
xenstore-read: couldn't read path backend/vbd/11/51712/node
xenstore-read: couldn't read path backend/vbd/6/2049/node
xenstore-read: couldn't read path backend/vbd/5/2049/node
xenstore-read: couldn't read path backend/vbd/4/2049/node
xenstore-read: couldn't read path backend/vbd/3/2049/no

The cat /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug is empty

Uudev looks a like that it is getting events:

# udevinfo -V
udevinfo, version 084
[root@asgard ~]# udevmonitor
udevmonitor prints the received event from the kernel [UEVENT]
and the event which udev sends out after rule processing [UDEV]
