Dunno if xen can do this for you but running the script diskcheck from contrab gives most of the time ample warning.

The rpm info of diskcheck:

Summary     : A hard drive space monitor.

Description :

DiskCheck is a small utility that monitors how much space is available

on your hard drive. It checks your drive space every hour and takes

action based on the specifications in a very simple config file.

When disks are nearing full capacity, a warning e-mail will be sent

prompting the system administrator to take action.

Onderwerp: [Xen-users] can xen put soft limit on disk size as openvz allowsyou to do

hi!

Can Xen put soft limit on hard disk size of guest domain like openvz does?

If yes, can xen issue alerts to domain0 when some guest domain reaches this limit ?

If not, can xen alert domain0  about low disk space of some guest domain?

Thanking you in anticipation
