Hi Alain
The parameter name in the kernel (and thus in .config and /boot/config) is CONFIG_IP_PNP. If you don't have this enabled the kernel won't accept the networking parameters passed to him as boot options in domU load and thus won't configure the network interface. Also: Please send a reply with the output of `ifconfig -a`.
