Is there a possibility you accidentally tried to start one of the
domains with an already assigned MAC address?
(before realizing and correcting it, of course)
I ask because I ran into the same error as you're seeing once I started
assigning MAC addresses. I accidentally assigned two domains the same
mac address, fixed it, but still couldn't create new DomU until I rebooted.
