[Xen-users] DomU Failing to boot

Hi Everyone,

 

I am using the 3.0.2 xen-unstable (2.6.16.13).

 

When I start my domU i get the error bridge not created.

 

Jun 18 08:21:30 dnahw2 logger: /etc/xen/scripts/vif-bridge: brctl addif xenbr0 vif6.0               failed

 

Looks like bridge is not being created.I have the bridge utils. If i add the bridge manually using the brctl command it works, but then the domU fails booting giving kernle panic

 

Creating root device
Mounting root filesystem
mount: error 6 mounting ext3
mount: error 2 mounting none
Switching to new root
switchroot: mount failed: 22
umount /initrd/dev failed: 2
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

var/log/messages shows:

 

device vif8.0 entered promiscuous mode
Jun 18 08:37:06 dnahw2 kernel: device vif8.1 entered promiscuous mode
Jun 18 08:37:13 dnahw2 kernel: device vif8.0 left promiscuous mode
Jun 18 08:37:13 dnahw2 kernel: xenbr0: port 2(vif8.0) entering disabled state
Jun 18 08:37:13 dnahw2 kernel: device vif8.1 left promiscuous mode
Jun 18 08:37:13 dnahw2 kernel: xenbr0: port 3(vif8.1) entering disabled state

Can someone please give a clue as to what is happening?
