Re: [Xen-users] prevention
Hi Chris
But I'm using Xen 3.0.1 ... I tried to use 3.0.2 initially, but I had
all kind of strange things happening that were only solved by
downgrading to 3.0.1 (search the archives for "moronic" posts from me ;-))
The more I think of it the more I feel that not being able to reboot
dom0 when there is/are domU running is an important feature: Someone
just might reboot dom0 instead of the intended domU bringing down other
domains he didn't intend to ...
TIA
Paolo

Thats what I thought lol. Actually I don't think there is one. However in Xen
3.0.2(I believe, thats what I have) if you reboot the machine you will notice
Xen saves the "states" of the domUs and then restores them, regardless of
what is in /etc/xen/auto

Hi Chris
Typo. I intended to write reboot and not boot ...
TIA

Uhh...doesn't dom0 have to be running before domUs can be running..?

Hi
Is there a way to prevent dom0 from booting if there are guest domains
(domU) running?
TIA
