Hi Christian

What might be cause Xen not to create the device? I also tried to look for the string peth in /etc/xen (and sub folders) and /usr/lib/python/xen and the string doesn't exist.

TIA
Paolo

creates the peth0 device in dom0?

The /etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge script.
The setup is a non-trivial process, but the docs are there.
Usually the script can be sufficiently configured with the
parameters it gets from the file /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp .
