Is it possible to do a fresh install from a cd in paravirtualization mode ?
just like the full virtualization, where you tell where's your iso and then
you boot and install the new OS

In short, not really.

Long version: you need to have a modified kernel on that cdrom that
you can boot, and figure out all the params that need to be passed to
it to use the cd's extra goodies... all in all, probably won't work
well without way too much work.
